DukanBook was born from a simple observation: millions of small shop owners across India still manage their businesses on paper. They track sales in notebooks, manage inventory in their heads, and lose money every day due to poor record keeping. Our mission is to change that. We believe every dukaan owner deserves access to modern, easy-to-use digital tools that help them grow their business — without spending a fortune on complex software.

Our Story

We started DukanBook in 2024 after spending months visiting small shops across India — from kirana stores in Mumbai to mobile shops in Hyderabad, from clothing stores in Jaipur to medical stores in Delhi. Every shop owner we met had the same problems: messy account books, lost bills, no idea about profit and loss, and a dependence on accountants who charged more than they could afford. We built DukanBook to be the simple, affordable solution that any shop owner can use — even without any computer knowledge. Just pick up your phone, and you're ready.
